Ingredients:


For the brownies:


  • 1 box brownie mix (or homemade)
  • Eggs, oil, and water as per package instructions



For the pudding layer:


  • 2 packages of vanilla pudding mix (5.1 oz each)
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract



For assembly:


  • 2 cartons whipped topping (16 oz total), thawed
  • Mini Reese’s peanut butter cups (about 2 cups), halved




Instructions:


1. Prepare the brownies: Bake the brownies according to package or homemade instructions. Let them cool completely and cut into bite-sized cubes.



2. Make the pudding: Whisk the pudding mix with milk until smooth. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla, then fold in half of the whipped topping. Chill until firm.



3. Assemble the trifle: In a large trifle dish, layer as follows:


  • A layer of brownie cubes
  • A layer of pudding
  • A layer of Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • A layer of whipped topping Repeat layers twice, finishing with whipped topping.



4. Garnish: Top with additional brownie pieces, Reese’s, or crushed peanut butter cups.



5. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
